INJECTABLE SUSPENSION
Composition
Each 1 ml contains:
enzylpenicillin (as Procaine)
Solvents ad.
Indications
Treatment of diarrhea, pneumonia, pasteurellosis, mastitis, metritis, and gastroenteritis in buffaloes, cows and swine
Dosage
Intramuscular injection.
Dosage: 1 ml per 30 kg of body weight, for 3–5 days.
Shake well before use.
Contra indications
Do not administer to animals hypersensitive to the ingredients of the drug
Do not use in animals with impaired liver or kidney function; rodents such as guinea pigs, gerbils, hamsters.
Do not use when pathogens produce beta-lactamase.
Withdrawal times
For meat:
For meat and offal: 6 days
For milk: 96 hours (4 days)
Storage
Store in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight. After opening, store at 2–8 °C (refrigerated).
