The Bully dog model is attracting the attention of many pet lovers in Can Tho City. Different from traditional dog breeds, the Bully dog is not only a lovely friend but is also highly appreciated for its cute personality, strong protective instincts and ability to adapt well in urban living environments.
For many years, thanks to raising expensive dog breeds of the Exotic Bully breed (USA), Mr. Pham Thanh Giang, in An Thoi ward, Binh Thuy district, Can Tho city, has made his family rich by selling dogs of this breed to the market.

It can be said that this is the dog raising model that is considered to have the highest economic value today in the Tay Do area.

The Bully dog’s full name is American Bully, this is a dog breed that originated in the US in 1995. After that, the Bully dog began to be introduced to neighboring countries as well as some Asian countries such as Vietnam. Bully dogs are the result of crossbreeding between purebred Pitbull and Bulldog breeds.
As for the beauty standard of this dog breed, Mr. Giang said, this breed has a rugged appearance, shoulders, legs, muscles, boxy head, slanted eyes, good bones, etc. Especially, their nature is very gentle and friendly to the owner.
According to Mr. Giang, raising and trading Bully dogs is an industry that brings quite high profits to the current pet trend. The Bully dog breed once had a fever in Vietnam and currently shows no signs of cooling down. This breed of dog is raised for about 10 months to reproduce. The birth rate and survival rate are low, so the price of this breed of dog is always expensive and many times higher than other common dog breeds.
To date, Mr. Giang has bred 20 adult dogs. As for breed dogs, he is selling them throughout the provinces and cities nationwide at an average price of 1,000-8,000 USD/dog (equivalent to 22-175 million VND/dog, depending on size), after deducting all expenses. His expenses bring in a total annual income of over 300 million VND.
