C.P Vietnam Livestock Joint Stock Company and De Heus Company Limited announce the adjustment of animal feed prices, the application period begins from May 11, 2024. Accordingly, animal feed prices have been adjusted to decrease from 100 to 500 VND per kg.
This can be considered the second price reduction in 2024 and up to now, animal feed prices have decreased from 400 to 800 VND per kg.
According to C.P Vietnam Livestock Joint Stock Company, this time adjusting the selling price of animal feed is to accompany and share with farmers. Specifically, the application period starts from May 11, 2024 and the reduction applied to each type of the company’s products as follows: decrease 100 VND per kg for products for laying hens and laying ducks, chicken breeds, dairy cows, meat quails, laying quails; decrease 150 VND per kg for products for broilers; Products for piglets, porkers, sows, all kinds of concentrated feed, meat ducks, breeding ducks and goats are reduced by 200 VND per kg; A reduction of 300 VND per kg applies to feed for beef cattle, calves, gilts, and porkers and a reduction of 400 – 500 VND per kg applies to products for porkers (521Pro, 522Pro).
De Heus Company Limited reduces 160 VND per kg for all types of feed products for broiler chickens, effective from May 14, 2024.
In Ba Ria – Vung Tau province, there are 2 chicken farms, with a scale of 520,000 chickens per batch, recognized by the Department of Animal Health as qualified and currently participating in a chain of product export links to Japan. In addition, there are 6 farms, with a scale of 1 million animals per litter, participating in the chain with Koyu & Unitek Company and De Heus.
