Betta fish have long, flat bodies and attractive fins that resemble long, wide-spreading dresses. The upper fins start from the middle of the back, while the caudal and ventral fins are colorful and vibrant.
The most special feature of Betta is the labyrinth respiratory organ, which allows the fish to breathe directly from the water surface. Thanks to that, Betta can easily adapt to narrow and oxygen-poor environments

Bettas live mainly in rivers, canals, and rice fields. The ideal water for raising Bettas is soft water, with a pH of 6 to 7.5 and a temperature of 24-30°C. When the temperature deviates too much, the fish can easily become stressed and stop eating.
Regarding feed, Betta is an omnivorous species. They like mosquito larvae, shrimp larvae, plankton, small insects, and bloodworms. When raising fish, you should feed them fresh or frozen feed, 1-2 meals a day to keep the fish beautiful and healthy.
Betta’s lifespan ranges from 2-3 years, if well cared for they can live longer.
2. CARASSIUS AURATUS – TRADITIONAL SYMBOL
Carassius auratus has a history of over 1000 years, domesticated by the Chinese from Carassius Gibelio – a strain of Asian river carp. Carassius auratus looks like a carp but is more prominent thanks to its long, soft tail.
They have scales covering its entire body, sometimes speckled with scales. The fish’s tail comes in many shapes, including veiltail, fantail, and comettail. The fish’s colors are very diverse, including black, iridescent, red, orange, and pearl white. When fully grown, the fish can reach a length of 8 to 13 cm.
The feed is very rich. They can eat bloodworms, dry bran, frozen red worms, boiled egg yolks, plants and pellets.
Carassius auratus prefers old water and can tolerate salinity up to 10% and low oxygen levels. When raising the fish, avoid using tap water because tap water is often lacking in nutrients. The ideal temperature for raising the fish is 19-20°C, water hardness from 10-15 dH, pH between 6.0-8.0.

One of the most striking features of the Red Parrot fish is its color. When young, the fish are usually yellow, but as they mature, they turn a brilliant red, making them a symbol of good luck and success in fishkeeping culture. This makes the Red Parrot fish a popular choice for aquariums, as many believe they bring prosperity.
To best care for a Red Parrot, ensure that the tank has at least 120 liters of water. However, if possible, you should add 30-40 liters for each fish added to the tank to create more space for the fish to swim and grow. The larger the tank, the more space the fish have to express their natural instincts and reduce stress.
The water quality in the tank is also very important. It is necessary to control the pH index, ammonia, nitrite and nitrate levels to maintain the ideal water environment for fish. Suitable water temperature ranges from 21 to 28 degrees Celsius, while the ideal pH is between 6.0 and 8.0 and the water hardness is between 2 and 25. Besides, providing moderate lighting also helps maintain biological balance in the aquarium.
With good care and living conditions, the Red Parrot fish can not only grow healthily but also become a beautiful and lucky symbol in your home.
