Recorded live pig prices today, September 5, recorded scattered increases of 1,000 VND/kg, fluctuating between 62,000 – 67,000 VND/kg.
Live pig prices in the North
The live pig market in the Northern provinces recorded a slight increase of 1,000 VND/kg this morning, trading between 64,000 – 67,000 VND/kg.
In Vinh Phuc, live pig prices increased slightly by 1,000 VND/kg, bringing the transaction price to 66,000 VND/kg.
Lao Cai and Ninh Binh provinces remained at the lowest level of 64,000 VND/kg.
Hanoi continued to maintain the highest level in the country at 67,000 VND/kg.
Live pig prices in the Central Highlands
In the Central Highlands, the live pig trading price did not record any new fluctuations, purchasing in the range of 62,000 – 65,000 VND/kg.
The provinces of Quang Tri, Binh Dinh, Khanh Hoa, Dak Lak and Ninh Thuan are still the localities with the lowest purchasing price of 62,000 VND/kg.
Traders in the remaining localities continue to purchase live pigs at unchanged prices.
Pig price in the South
The pig market in the South increased by VND1,000/kg in some places, trading at around VND62,000 – VND64,000/kg.
Currently, after increasing by VND1,000/kg this morning, pigs in Ben Tre are being purchased at VND62,000/kg. This transaction price was also recorded in the provinces of Binh Phuoc, Tien Giang, Tra Vinh and Ho Chi Minh City.
With the same increase, Bac Lieu adjusted the pig price to VND 63,000/kg.
